Veterans Commissioner for Wales

Wales is set to have its own Veterans Commissioner after a campaign by Amanda Jenner's Welsh Conservative colleagues in Westminster.

Amanda, who's standing this year for the Senedd in Ceredigion, said:

'I was so pleased to hear that the new post of a Veterans Commissioner for Wales will be introduced. Well done and thank you to Simon Hart MP and Fay Jones MP for this successful campaign.

As a Senedd Member, one of my priorities would be to work hard to ensure that Veterans and their families are given all the support, recognition and respect they deserve. I'll listen to Veterans groups and partners like Veterans' Hub Penparcau to hear where they feel the focus is needed.'
